THE GHANAIAN DREAM – 2020
This year’s Ghanaian Dream was all about inspiring the Diaspora to invest in Ghana. We started the event off with a short speech by Nadia Adongo Musah, the Deputy Director of The Diaspora Affairs Office of The President, followed by an introduction to The Ghanaian Dream and the initiative’s mission. The keynote
speaker was real estate mogul Nana Kwame Bediako who gave a very inspiring story based on his life and his path to building his real estate empire in Ghana. We ended the segment with a Q&A from the audience, and the questions just kept on coming. Eventually, Nana Kwame Bediako took the stage again and spoke about how important it is for Ghana and Africa to unite, so that we can effect real change. He emphasized once again how much Ghana and Africa have to offer and ended off by telling the Diaspora that “there’s no time to waste. Now is the time to invest in Ghana”.
It pleased us to hear that many of our guests eventually did invest not too long after the program. Many notable guests graced the occasion, among which superstar comedian Michael Blackson from the US, ace comedian Michael Dapaah from the UK,
top actor Majid Michel, and powerful influencer and hair mogul Kika Goodhair.
